Mosquitoes & Man.
Deep within the acrid and desolate land of 'nothingtoblogabout', while reflecting on a random series of things said and read, I chanced upon an incredibly brave mosquito descending upon my right thigh.
Alas, our beloved mosquito could not escape it's cruel fate of death, for a mere slap in the back sent it a one-way ticket to mosquito heaven, or hell for that matter.
Perhaps it's the awkward placement of my personal desktop in the darkest and most inaccessible(by mobile wavelengths) corner of my humble home, perhaps it's the dreary downpours we're getting that deem this season the season of mass mosquito orgies or perhaps it's simply the absence of other sweeter blood joints, namely in the form of the diabetic sister and brother who consume up to 10kg worth of sugar daily, but I think this mosquito culling exercise might just become a permanent start to my every blog posts from now on.
Speaking of blood and mosquitoes, I've just realised that 'Yellow' by Coldplay is an excellent song depicting the intimate relationship between humans and mosquitoes.
Let's observe one of the last few stanzas of the song,
Assuming that the first portion is sung by the mosquito and the second portion by us, the bloody humans, doesn't 'Yellow' deserve the most befitting love song of the century award now?
