BREAKUP.

WHAT A TERRIBLY TERRIBLY TERRIBLY HECTIC WEEK IT HAS BEEN!
And really, that statement above IS a grossly understated understatement!

I was left so freakin' exhausted and annoyed at myself towards the end of the week that I actually started to speak more fluent singlish/hokkien/teochew (once again, I can't differentiate!) . Kinda no link here, but oh yeah, just an observation I had when I rewinded the whole week in my head on friday night.

Thursday night and Friday were the worst of all 5 days cos' the History H1 students had this 1800 words History research assignment and everyone got different questions,so we couldn't really share readings. Also, we had to sieve through LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of readings before we could really come to any argument.

Yes the assignment was given like 3 weeks ago, but procrastinate's a horridly close friend to all of us and your good friend here so wisely left all the readings to be read ONE day before the assignment was due. SO SMART OF HER RIGHT???

OK, so at 10 pm, there I was, buried under my everest of notes and only on my FIRST paragraph of my assignment. THE HORROR~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Only managed to finish a somewhat 'doesn't-really-make-sense' essay at 3 am in the morning, typing words like 'CHURTAIN' when I wanted to talk about CHURchill's Iron CurTAIN speech. Cutting a phrase of 4 words into ONE! So pro right?
All these, without studying for my impeding Maths and Economics Continual Assesmentbarely 4 hours later. GONG XI FA CAI MAN!

Going to school in a comatose state 4 hours later, I realised I couldn't recall anything I KNOW I KNOW (ok, doesn't make sense here, but heck heck~) and what's worse was my mind didn't seem to function during the most crucial times of my CAs themselves! arhhhhhh~

Haiz.........and to think I really didn't have much of a life the entire week (thank goodness not inclusive of the weekends). From monday to friday, nope I didn't go annoy my ex co-workers at toa payoh, didn't zip off to town after school, didn't have my weekly subway dinner with angel (not inclusive of weekends), didn't watch as much tv, didn't use the computer as much I'd have liked to.

RAWR!
Seriously, NO LIFE LAH (according to my own definitions of what 'Life' is ).

And I think I allowed the weirdest of things get to me on Friday.
Sorry to all who had to endure my pms-y ways that day, on top of the whole terrible lack of sleep and *gasp* COFFEE(I think I'm getting addicted to this) the entire day, I really had PMS(I think it's nearing that time of the month).

Went out with my Kwayteow on Friday night, after a 2 hour long nap, and with MUCH persuasion from my kwayteow, went to PS with her to buy yet another ugly item. lol~
Ice cream is good, I think I've had ice cream everyday for the last 5 days. Red bean potong, strawberry cheesecake haagen daaz, New zealand natural's macadamia supremes~wahhhhhhhh~

Ice cream makes me happy. :D

Despite the 2 hour nap, I still went home SUPER shagged~
So much so I overslept the next day and couldn't go for the AJ funfair cos' I woke up at 11:30 am and the funfair ends a hour later at 12.30 pm -.-".
Sorry for pangsehing you peeps, was REALLY REALLY tired~

Saturday was REAL fun!
Sardines a day keep the doctors away!
hehe~
:)

OK!
What has this week taught me?
Procrastination is a BAD friend!
Time for a breakup.

Just the same as the bye bye long hair thingy. (yeah, duH I cut my hair)
We've both come to a mutual agreement that it wasn't working out, and as such, we've decided this was for the best~
lol~

Dunno if you peeps have noticed it yet, but my hair IS getting shorter week after week, defying the laws of hair-growing nature not cos' it's defiant, but simply cos' I've been snipping it off bit by bit on my own.

The sardines didn't belive me man~
SERIOUS! I REALLY cut my own hair (after the inital cut by the hair salon lah~) and it really is pretty easy, just observe your hairdresser carefully the next time you go for a haircut. Before you know it, you'd be chopping your own hair off! hahahaha~

Perhaps I should go take up some professional haircutting skills.
Wonder if that counts as a NYAA approved skill.
Angel actually thinks I have potential/talent in hair cutting. lol~
Now I wonder why she refuses to let me cut her hair for her~ lol~

The M.G Dictionary.

The best thing about studying economics at H2 level in CJC, is the fact that we get to watch comedies 4 times a week!

2 lectures and 2 tutorials, an hour long each session every week!
The lecturer of our lecture theatre is pretty entertaining, our first 3 months econs tutor (gangster goddess lee!) is MORE entertaining, but above them all is Mdm Mary Goh(kinda reminds you of MARIGOLD eh? hahahaha~), the biggest joke of economic theory and history!

Mdm Mary Goh is this very fair, 50s-60s(70s if she uses botox, but going by her 'cheap makeup makes her BEAUTIFUL' ideology, most probably not~lol~) lady who teaches economics at CJ. She has a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry wide and cheem range of vocabulary for daily speech.
Oh yeah, besides that, she talks with a HIGHLY exotic Indian/Fillipino accent.

Today, during another one of our highly amusing and entertaining economics tutorials, Cel,Christian, Lesh and I complied a fully comprehensive translation of just what the hell Mdm Mary Goh is saying.

We call it , The M.G Dictionary. (The M.G Dick sounds not bad too, shall consult my fellow 'editors' about it tomorrow~LOL~)

And here, is the list of words we've managed to somewhat successfully translate today!

Catergory - Kah Teh Ger Ree!
Absent -UPsen
Test - Taste
Copy - Kopi
Essay - AIR-SAAY
Important - Impotent
Negative - NEH-ger-teeth
Positive - POH-sit-teeth
Never - NEH-ver
Heavy - HAY-vee
Blah Blah - Blab Blab
Table - TEH-ble
Timothy - tim-MOE-tea
Allocate - AH~locate
Food - Foot
Fruit - Foot(again)
Teach Less Learn More - Teach More Learn LESS
Shown - Shawn
Denesh - Danish
Condominium - CONDOM-minion

Shall add on to this list the next lesson~
Till then, remember what Mdm Mary Goh said, "DON'T KOPI! IT'S IMPOTENT!"
ROFL~

Another Thursday.

Pw results were released today!
There had been a rumour about it going around last night with SRJC and IJC somewhat confirming it's release today while other JCs kept mum about it.

So there I was, in the middle of the night, frantically messaging all of my close SMS buds in other JCs and CJ asking them about that rumour.

Seriously MOE has a knack for releasing results on Holy days.
A'level results were released on a holy day of the Catholic calendar, and now PW results are released on the eve of good Friday, which is also some holy day in the catholic calendar. (yeah, I really don't know exactly what are these 'holy days' called due to my utmost ignorance~)

This morning, there wasn't even a bloody annoucement on the release of PW results, so I was kinda expecting them to be out maybe next week or something. BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
The school admin had to freakin' display the PW results on some board in some hidden corner of the school, without even informing us (the repeats), that they're out!

So poor me had to rely on 'the sun' (urgh....YUCK) to rush in fists in the air that YAY~ he doesn't have to take PW anymore(regardless of the grade he got T.T).
That happened during maths tutorial, and minutes later, our ever so popular Long John received a message from his friend about his PW grade, leaving me, high and dry and utterly jittery, restless, nervous and simply frightened.

I was seriously ALOT more worried about my PW results then my Promos' results last year or even my Chinese AO'lvl results a few months ago.

So the clock ticked painfully slowly until Ms Peh so nicely decided to let us off earlier today after witnessing how restless the class is generally.

Rushed allllllllllllll the way down to the foyer, looked frantically for that damned board, to find a group of about 5 teachers hovering around it.

Saw my name and a whole much of numbers, but they didn't make much sense, so I asked one of the teachers how do I know what's my grade.

That teacher was real nice, and told me that the bracketed number behind my code number is my grade.

My heart literally just froze there.

I looked once.
Blinked a few more times.
Checked again.

LEE YILING ALISON................................................(1).

HALLELUJAH!

Looks like all the time spent slogging over the computer, all those time 'wasted' at my PW groupmate's house doing nothing but PW and going through one after another drafts( I did an average of 3-4 drafts per component of PW -.-") of proposals, evaluative materials, insights, surveys, interviews, research,Q&A drilling sessions and what not paid off!

But the biggest shock I had the whole of today wasn't my PW results or the fact that the slackest PW member in my group actually got a band 1 along with me while the rest all received a 2, but the sight of Bella with her freshly plucked eyebrows!
:D

Haha!
ELEVEN now has ANOTHER hot babe in class!

Hmm, went out with part of my class today to have lunch at Turaiya's grandmother's stall. GREAT FOOD PEOPLE! Value for money too! Only $2.50! hahaha!

After making an immense amount of din at Turaiya's grandmother's stall we walked around Far East a bit before I went to have my hair cut while the rest follwed Bella to have her eyebrows plucked(ouch~).
Haiz~
Now that I've got a proper mirror to examine the cut, I kinda wish it had been a little shorter~
Nvm! Looks erm, somewhat decent nevertheless!

Rejoined the group after that to be perpetually SHOCKED at how great a difference plucked/unplucked eyebrows affects one's face.

REALLY!
Bella's beautiful eyes REALLY stood out a great deal more now that she had her eyebrows plucked, but the poor dear was tearing throughout the whole thing.
Once again, OUCH!

So we horsed around Paragon awhile, Jasmine and Sondra stopping here and there to take the most childish pictures (them on a TINY carousel, them imitating the steel sculptures outside paragon....etc...etccc...) DAMN funny! lol~

We then zipped off to Plaza Singapura to have ice cream at Gelare~
I like Apple pie flavoured ice cream!
Anything with apples in them is good!

After which we searched for the perrrrrrrfect cloth to make our class curtains!
Wahhh~ I really like the colours of the cloths we picked for the curtains~
Look out for them on monday peeps!
Heez~ :D

Later on, I went to Taka to meet my FAT KWAYTEOW for dinner!
See lah, whenever I go out with you I only get fatter and poorer!
15 bucks for a bag the colour of CJ's toilet cleaning uniform~
No taste man u!

okok~this is why kwayteow and I shouldn't shop together, I think she has the worst taste in the whole world while she thinks I'm the weirdest gong she's ever known~
But that doesn't matter lah, I love her, she love me can liao~
lol~

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad loads of fun today!
But I really ought to be mugging real hard from tomorrow onwards~

Nevertheless, BYE BYE PW, FOREVER!
HAHA!

2:40.

2:40 am.

Can't sleep.
Too much caffeine in the bloodstream.
Kinda in a think-too-much-mode.
Missing the ghosts of yester-eons.
No matter how silly it seems.

Anyway, that rubbish aside,I think I've sort of got my priorities sorted today.
After MUCH MUCH MUCH thought and consultation with my good for nothing self and my good for everything bunch of lamers(LAST!) who basically do nothing but make me really really really happy (really, that's enough for me. :D), I've finally decided to quit hockey .

WHY?

1. I cannot commit.

Right now my number ONE priority in school, is(and really ought to be) my studies.
And frankly, the thought of four 4-hour long training sessions per week isn't really a very settling or reassuring fact to both my self and my parents.

2. I'm mentally and physically unable to keep up with the hockey team.

The "I WANT TO WIN" or "I MUST FIGHT FOR THE SCHOOL AND THE TEAM" mentality is truly non-existent in my deepest unconsciousness.
I'm sorry but I just don't have them.
Never had and never did.
All I wanted was to become stronger, both in terms of fitness and determination, to play better hockey and simply, have fun.

3. I think that my incompetence in anything and everything regarding hockey is pulling the team standards and morale down.

I don't want them to stunt their development just so I could somewhat catch up to them.
I don't want to face any more guilt-ridden or sympathy filled facades.

I don't want any of that anymore.

4. I'm simply not good at the sport.

No point in trying to be something you're not. No point in pursuing something contributing so much stress and depression into your daily list of sadness and disappointments.

5. I don't like the new J1s.

I'd be really honest here and say that I positively cannot stand half of them.
Imagine having to be with them 4 hours a session, 4 times a week.
NO WAY.

So yes, I'm really sorry, but I'm a selfish person.
A selfish hockey player.
A selfish nothing.

Right now, all I want, is to do all that I wanted to, but never got a chance to do.
Excel at the stuff I am truly interested in, stuff I'm confident I'll be able to accomplish.

Be a someone truly not confined to age old prejudices.
Be a someone I want to be.
Be a someone who's reflection I wouldn't frown upon.
Be a someone you could be proud of.

Anyway, cel, I'm really sorry if the scandals upset you a tad too much.
I never meant them in a maliceful way and I never expected them to spread so quickly and so widely.
If you'd like, you can start spreading scandals about me and Christian (even though he's my son, and me and him being 'together' is kinda incestuous), really, I don't really mind that sort of thing. Kinda used to them since primary FIVE. HAHA.

Then again, the fact that I don't really mind that sort of stuff kinda defeats the whole purpose of poking fun at someone and someone else being 'together'.
Don't worry, I'll try and find something for you to tease me about~

Scandals are SO amusing!

PUNZ!

Today, I shall tell you peeps the "not-so-romantic" story of PUNZ.

It all started in C4-001.
The first classroom on the 4th floor of the C block classrooms at this blue blue school, CJC.

Faulty in every way, an uncanny young love, umr, somewhat blossomed.

One fine, hot and smelly day, while intoxicated by the burning rubber of the quadrangle 3 floors down, one young smelly Faggot, namely Bunz, while taking a short nap during Chinese, decided for himself that he has come to age and needs to find himself, a WIFE.

He peeps from the folds of his so so so skinny and muscle-less arms, and POINTS tooooooooooooooooooooo our beloved bai chi , CELINE , and says,

"AHHHHH, YOU WILL BE MY WIFE AHHHH!" .

As with every other thing anyone says our baichi is too blur to comprehend the faggotish sound waves reaching her dunno-for-what ears. But that doesn't change the fact that the heavens above had guided BUNZ to his WIFE, the bai chi, Celine!

From then on, the heaven lights shone upon our young COUPLE and everyone, including the young couple confirmed their erm, undying, erm somewhat-love for each other!

The day after the official "annoucement" of the bai chi being married to the Bun, Bunz announced to the super cool front row-ers (people seated at the front row) that he BANGED celine the night before.

To the shocked look upon our faces, he then explained that they were playing minesweeper the night before and he had planted a bomb, which then went BANG!

Weeks passed and their fondness for each other grew~
Before long, the ingenious ME, decided that the bai chi should be called PAU simply cos' she's Bunz's wife and since Bunz is Bunz ,she should be called PAU!

And she really IS called PAU from then on!

This sparked off the "Pau and Bunz greeting signal" , created by Bunz's friend Song Yao, which consists of the cupping of both hands, followed by the up and down motion of both hands, left up first or right up first, doesn't really matter, what matters is the absolute 'delight' upon the Pau's face whenever she sees the household Pau and Bunz greeting~

Soon after,Song Yao thought up of further extensions to the Pau and Bunz greeting signal and it has now evolved into a fairly well-known CJ J1 informal mass dance known by the whole CJ choir, Badminton team, arts faculty, various literature and history and economics lectures and etc etc.... (Nevermind the fact that at the moment only Song Yao and Bunz know all of the various hand movements and etc..)

Just the other day, when Song Yao jokingly asked Bunz to carry the Pau up so that she could reach the pull up bar (she's not very tall F.Y.I) and do whatever hanky panky he wants at the same time, Bunz replied,
"DON'T TEMPT ME."

And today, came the crystallization of Pau and Bunz's erm, somewhat relationship - Pau and Bunz, are now called PUNZ! (Pun intended/unintended, I can't decide~)

And that's their story so far!
So cute right?
The somewhat blossoming of a young love~

* the above events are all TRUE and VERRRRRRRRRRY accurate since they're recounted by me! No name has been censored or changed for the convenience of fellow CJCians who've yet to identify the PUNZ!

**ok lah, the both of them are not really together or anything but the above events and happenings were ALL TRUE and REALLY happened! Not to mention, many have expressed approval for PUNZ as the next POTENTIAL couple! :D

So while our dear Pau is perhaps plotting of the various ways to murder me after reading this lovely recount of her loving relationship with Bunz, Bunz is probably gloating about all the free publicity he's getting these days~

-.-"

I have weird friends.
Does that say somethng about me?
lol~

The prayer.

I pray you’ll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don’t know

Let this be our prayer
As we go our way
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe
La luce che to dai

I pray we’ll find your light
Nel cuore restero
And hold it in our hearts
A ricordarchi che
When stars go out each night
L’eterna stella sei
Nella mia preghiera
Let this be our prayer
Quanta fede c’e
When shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace

Give us faith so we’ll be safe.
Sognamo un mondo senza piu violenza

Un mondo di giustizia e di speranza
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicinoSimbolo di pace e di fraternita

La forza che ci dai
We ask that life be kind
E’il desiderio che
And watch us from above
Ognuno trovi amore
We hope each soul will find
Intorno e dentro a se
Another soul to love

Let this be our prayer
Let this be our prayer
Just like every child
Just like every child

Needs to find a place,
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe
E la fede che
Hai acceso in noi
Sento che ci salvera

With special thanks to the pau (celine) for introducing the Charlotte Church and Josh Gorban version, I'm finally enlightended to what I now consider, the best rendition of this song~
Then again, it could just be me and the pau(celine) ~lol~

hahahaha~

Just takes some time.

OK, I just pangsehed my kwayteow-yet again.
Sorry sorry sorry!

For Fat Kwayteow : OEI, who call you always wanna meet at anal time/day/month~

I just noticed that recently my life's been revolving alot on school and my constant attempts to get down to some serious mugging. Notice the word here is 'TRYING', so yup, most of the time I don't really get much into my pea brain~ -.-"

Guess that laminated 'love letter' from abang on my desk IS of SOME use! (yes I really went ahead and laminated that letter~)

Anyway, I'm not really complaining about the changes to how I'm going about with my daily life Everything minus the oh so frequent social gatherings/obligations.
Yes I'm even more anti-social then my previously anti-social self!
haha.

Ok, this is how my 'anti-social' logic goes,

1. If I don't enjoy myself whenever I'm around you, I'll utterly and totally refuse to see you at all, or at much as I can. ( I doubt people of this catergory even get here in the first place, but if you managed to, you should know I DON'T LIKE YOU. HAH. )

2. If I'm seeing you too often there really isn't much difference in seeing MORE of you~

3. I'm out of cash.

4. I've got work to complete.
WORK before play my dearies!
Sad but TRUE! (ok, as much as I try to anyway)

And for this weekend, number 3 and 4 apply to my poor kwayteow~

Hmmm, other then that, I must say I don't mind the hectic-ness of it all at the moment, afterall I'm FINALLY doing something I actually like. Studying REALLY is less of a chore for me now, at least until the more hardcore stuff come along.

Now let's just work on being good at it.
:D
