WEEK ONE. (again.)
First week of official school hours!
FINALLY everyone's in factory-worker/toilet cleaner/ toilet cleaning corporation manager(with the tie) gear!
FINALLY teachers don't look at you with that right eyebrow up at the sight of your uniform and start being judgmental about you right before lessons even start.
FINALLY everyone in class sorta warmed up to each other to a higher degree.
And I sorta got saboed into being T11's HTC. (wah lau, how did tze shun find out about this before I posted this??)

In CJ, class ICs are called HTCs, meaning Home Tutorial counselors, since we run by the home class system~ hahaha~
okok, I don't really mind being HTC .
I mean there ARE SOME perks in being a HTC right?
Like always having the key with you as and when you want to go to class.
And um.
And um.
Yeah, that.
lol~
Well...I really do hope that I can be of some service to the class, that I can in one way or another bond the class and well...that we can be more then just a united class.
See ah,personally, a united and well bonded class isn't just about the number of class outings or how much fun everyone has in the company of the class. It's also about everyone supporting one another when one of us loses his or her motivation or drive to strive harder, to preservere during times of immense stress and utter overload.
I'm not saying that I want a muggerish and lifeless class,that's just plain B-O-R-I-N-G, but I'm just plainly and painfully stating the harsh reality that ultimately, we're working towards the A'levels, thus studies should not be neglected.
Also, having gone through J1 once, I know what's it like to be stuck in a sucky and lifeless and utterly selfish class.
What's it like to fall so low that before you know it, you're feeling the empty and cold bottom of ROCK BOTTOM.
Trust me, not such a saccharine sweet component of the permanent memories department.
So yup, I really don't want anyone in T11 to end up like me. I don't say all repeats cos' every repeat probably has a different story behind why they're repeating J1.
Therefore, we must must must must encourage each other and PUSH(not force) each other towards BRILLIANT grades in the words of our very own Long John without the loss of fun! lol~
JC life is at times quite a drag, at other times quite a bitch.
But it's the people around you in college that in a way really make it all worth it while at the same time bringing out the best and worse in you.
The whole school can suck, the system can fail, but as long as we have a rocking class, all that don't matter much eh?
hahahahaha~

Kinda like a belated 'speech' I was supposed to make yesterday when Alfie made the whole Class Committee say a few words .

This post damn damn damn overdue considering the fact that I watched it with XY the day after it was officially released on our beloved tiny dot. (17th March, old friend's b'day....hmmm..) Interestingly, the entire Cinema we're in was filled was guys except XY and I~ -.-"
Anyway, V for Vendetta rocks!
Hugo Weaving(dude who acted as Mr Smith in the Matrix Trilogy.) did an awesome rendition of 'V' !
I especially liked the part where he introduced himself to Evey, check out the number of words starting with 'V' he said man! Madness! It's almost like some sinister tongue twister there!
Also, V tends to quote from Shakespeare, kinda interesting how a monster, created through monsterous acts could appreciate such refinement in language. Yup yup, rather odd taste for a somewhat cold blooded man.
But the part about "Ideas never die."
Really makes you wonder why some are so willing to lay down their lives, and that of others just to fulfill or realise that 'idea'. Kinda ironic too, considering how new 'ideas' are supposed to help benefit and better the lives of the people, when their very lives are being threatened to well,realise it.
Oh yeah, the ending was kinda weird, all who've died during the course of the entire November the 5th thingy, reappeared at the mass protest outside the British Parliament house. And I only noticed that after XY pointed it out to me~
On the whole, I thought V for Vendetta was pretty kick ass,but that's just me maybe~

Hmmm.....the past week has been a preeeetty eventful week, full of nothing but stone,crap,lame play!
Finale :
Hmmm....not as rockin' as O1, perhaps cos' orientation this time round is shorter and the class isn't as bonded as OH SIX was during O1, YET (fingers crossed on this)but nevertheless it was very very fun!
We went to Police Academy just opposite Cj for our 'telematches' and games instead of Snetosa like last year~ Slightly less 'exciting' but nvm lah, it's not the location, it's the energy! hahahaha~
Btw, I got a sunburn on my left eyelid cos of all the time I spent in the sun. Of all parts of the skin, my EYELID.

Quite an enthu house, I was SO SO SO shocked when they 'awarded' ORSO 'best spirit'. Like wth. Are they deaf or blind??

NEVER dance mass dance with James(another neighbour of mine) for 2 times straight cos' don't ask me how, his steps always look correct but in actual fact are all totally off. And I only found out they were ALL WRONG after dancing with leshie and jovi.

Rockafellaskank 2 :
Had a GREAT time !
FYI: Rockafellaskank is a CJC initiated Rock competition/concert, whereby all proceeds go towards funding for the end of year OCIP projects and the needy students' fund!
It started kinda slow and not-so-entertaining cos' the first few band either had a lack of energy or were too poser-ish or simply played bad music. -.-"
But as the night continued we got to hear some pretty good bands, kinda unpolished here and there, but generally BETTER then the first few bands lah~
The HIGH came when Mr Pang (our home tutor! and more affectionately known as ALFIE) and CJ's FATHER Raj came to perform the song, "stand by me" . Alfie dedicated the song to ELEVEN (current class) and OH SIX!!!! Oh man! So sweet of him! And he was damn funny on stage lah~ The full fronters and Leshie and a whole bunch of other OH SIX and ELEVEN peeps all stood up and cheered and clapped and all, we even screamed,
"MR PANG, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (the initial plan was to stand on the chair , but some of us backed out~lol~)
Later on everyone just ran all the way to the front of the stage and start jumping to the music! Now THAT'S what I call a rock concert~
Not some seated "oh-let's-all-clap-hands" rubbish~
After the concert we walked all the way to my place, dump some stuff before going on to pester Bunz and James just down the road~
We bought a whole lot of crappy food at Cheers, met up with Cleo before going back to my place to watch...............BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
The pace of the movie was really really really slow, and it isn't what I'd call a "group hangout friendly movie", especially such a large group of crappers. 2 minutes into the show and no real "action" yet, we went stright to scene selections and selected all the "dark" scenes~

OMG, what we saw was SO SO SO SO disturbing!
Shan't elarborate, but I bet you people can infer what I'm trying NOT to convey here~lol~

When we figured that wasn't going to be anymore "action", we bullied Bunz into bringing Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2 .
WAHHH, VIOLENCE AND GORE!
What a sadistic bunch of people we are.

After watching vol 1, Bunz left to sleep in his own bed, 5 secs away, leaving poor james to stayover at my living room with a bunch of not-very-quiet-and-mentally-sound gals in a not so mental house, cos' he got locked out of his own house (ok, quite loserish here~lol~) at 3 am.
We then played cards until Rui Xin and I got bored of them and decided to watch Kill Bill vol. 2 while the rest continued playing cards. From then on, one by one we succumbed to our mental and physical fatigue and all just somehow fell asleep on the couch.
That was around 5 plus am I think.
Then dunno how we woke up in my room and james disappeared (my maid said his maid was worried so he went home). And Bunz and Cleo came in morning for MaC breakfast and Kill Bill Vol. 2 since we all fell asleep during it the night before.
HUA :
I don't normally talk much about the HUAs and L.A.S.T (Lamers Association Sardines Together.) (the HUAs and L.A.S.T are the same bunch of jokers)cos' it's kinda like breathing to me. Rain or shine, got money no money, subway or not, DIE also not must, but WILL definitely meet like once a week, once every two weeks, but never more then that lah~
And whenever we meet, we never do,accomplish much.
Basically, we just take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG dinner and crap and lame and catch up on each others' lives , then we'd crap,lame,play allllllllllllll the way until one of us has to leave and Angel and I, living 5 minutes away from each other, would go grab some coffee and AGAIN, talk the night away.
Most of the time I never reach home until AT LEAST 1 on Saturday nights.
yup yup yup.
Last night was the same as every other week, just that the content we crapped,lamed and joked was different.
Don't know what or why or how, just meeting up with my kakis from the ol' days really grounds me to who I am or who I was and everything past and everything I love, everything of my very being, and I guess that in a sense kinda keeps me sane, nevermind the fact that I'm never sane with them. lol~
Kinda freaky how insanity with those close to your heart brings about some form of sanity from the rush of everything happening, new friends, new faces,new teachers,new environment,new experiences...
Dunno why am I spelling out my 'schedule', but I had a great great great time this week.

The new and unknown.
New class.
1T11.
For the next two years of my life.
And the subjects are *drum roll please* ........................
H2-Literature.
H2-Economics.
H2-Mathematics.
H1-History.
Like wth.
I chose
H2-Literature.
H2-History.
H2-Mathematics
H1-Economics.
But I guess the number of people who chose that combination was too little to even form a class or combine with another class.
Nevertheless, good news peeps!
Mr Pang( my 1st 3 months Lit, GP and Home tutor) is still my home tutor!
WOOO HOOOO!
Also, Celine,Lester,Christian,Emily,Sharmaine are in the same class as me too!
Notice I didn't include someone, not too happy about that person being in the same class as me.
The fact that this someone is like one seat away from me doesn't help.
CEL, WE DIE(not THAT die) ALSO MUST MUST MUST CHASE 'THE SUN' OUT!
NVM!
Anyway, at the moment I tink my class is pretty alright, I have a similarly named classmate called "ALSON" (that's a guy btw), quite a nice guy, and Martina,Jasmine and Sondra.
Yup, people in my class are alright by far, but I guess everyone's just too attached to the 1st 3 months classes and friends and jc.
Let's hope that in time, we'd learn to open up to the new and unknown, become closer as a class and still be in close contact with our beloved 06 friends in other classes or jcs or anywhere else.
Nvm the fact that I'm still going on and on about 06, cos 06 was simply, irreplaceable.

O2.
Orientation 2 : O2 : Fuelling the flame forever.
Wellllllllllllll, what can I say, I met new people, they're real nice people and I get along with the kids, play nice with them and all. But somehow, I really really really really miss T06 !
Sure the new portion of the mass dance (footloose) was cute, but I really do miss Jitterbug.
Sure the games are ABIT new and kinda fun, but it's just not the same as when T06 OWNED everyone else in everything.
Sure the new people I've met are nice and fun, but they're just not T06!
And time really does perform miracles.
From a bunch of smiley unknowns, we've turned into a hundle of crying goofballs.
It's like a HIGHLY condensed version of what our secondary school or primary school, or just about any class you consider the best you've ever had.
Bleah.
I really hope that those who don't like CJ and are appealing out get their just wishes and get back to wherever they came from and empty that slot for all those who really WANT to get into CJ or get BACk to CJ, especially Fel and Shaun.
Really, I don't mean to sound unwelcoming of the 2nd intakers or anything. But if they really hate the school which I've come to love so much, I rather they leave and empty that spot for another who'd cherish his or her chance at studying at CJ. I mean, they've been posted to CJ, and there they are cheering 'X' JC's cheer while everyone else is cheering a CJ cheer?
Like, give me a break.
If you wanna leave so badly, leave for those who badly wanna come in or come back.

DEATH. wahahahaha!
Dinner with O6!
Darn we had sooooooooooooo much fun at Marche yesterday!
Well, started the day kinda slow (yy slept over the night before, and I don't know why was I so ttired, I slept alllllllllllll the way past 11!! ) ,before going to ya kun for breakfast.
Hmmm..what can I say, the standard of drinks made by these so-called "traditional kaya toast" joints has definitely went downhill. Not to mention the hard boiled eggs, nevermind the fact that I've never eaten hardboiled eggs~
ANYWAY~ went to hang around town with my hua-mummy,hua-grand aunt and family pig. Really. Literally HANG around town cos' we were so bored of town we decided to just sit around food republic, stone and crap. lol~
Afterwhich I went to wheelock to look for Bunz before he dragged me into Topman to look at.............. CHIO TIES. (Read, PINK ties)
Omg,no comments about his perception of "CHIO" here. But, I bet you intelligent beings out there can infer what I mean here. =P
Walked backed to Heeren after encountering the CHIO ties to find Ms Chua, Bryant and Shaun queuing in what seemed like an IMPOSSIBLY long queue. So we yakked our time away in the queue teasing Bunz as usual (actually I think we teased him the entire night, I THINK. lol~)before the rest of the class joined us at our verrrry long rectangular table (actually it was TWO LONG tables combined together).
We spent the entire night stuffing ourselves with a GLORIOUS amount of food and root beer and dessert and ICE CREAM! While gorging ourselves to "death" (in the words of Lester, that really does seem like the ONLY thing we've learnt from Mr Pang, let's hope he doesn't see this~lol~), we crapped,laughed,took lots of pictures,joked and teased each other silly! Ms Chua(our History tutor) was SO SO SO innocent, I bet she didn't get three quarters of the stuff we joked about!
After being stuffed, we walked a little further to this hawker centre where Mr Pang(our literature and GP tutor) treated us all to sugarcane juice! And we bitched abit about this and that before splitting up. Shaun, Bryant and the six full fronter girls (yes, Bunz is one of us. lol~) going to play Pool at Cuppage Plaza.
I must admit, I've only been to ONE pool joint and Cuppage being my second one. The pool joint at Cuppage SERIOUSLY looks damn dodgey and sleazy lah! We kept going on and on about our chances of getting mugged in a place like that. And should that happen, we betted that Bunz is gonna be the first one to scream and hide behind someone's back , at the same time peeing in his pant!

Dang, I'm really gonna miss majority of OH SIX , it's one of the best classes I've been allocated to, that despite the fact that we've only been together for barely 2 months! And I must say, out of my two first three months, I truly enjoyed myself alot more this time round, I didn't waste so much time on unnecessary crap, and actually got some studying and work done! (like, WOW.) Not only so, my jc life finally felt enriched and something I look forward to everyday. Not only so,more importantly, I got to hang out with such fun and lewd people from 1T06!!
I'm really gonna miss the full clique of the full fronters.
Things are gonna be so...incomplete without Rui Xin's closet bitch/bimbo moments and crossfires with Bunz, arathi's sassy remarks, feli's OH MY TIANs and so so so much more.
Well, let's hope that what's left of the class (all 14 of us) can still be in the same class!
Fingers crossed on that!
Orientation 2 tomorrow!
