PINEAPPLE TARTS.

The only thing I officially like about CNY is pineapple tarts.

I'm serious!!!!
See ah, the only thing I look forward to about visiting other people's places is how their pineapple tarts taste.
Kinda diao, but ah well, I LOVE pineapple tarts.

And if that house has lousy pineapple tarts or worse still, NO PINEAPPLE TARTS, wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh damn sian !!!

So far, I've only visited my grandmother's house(father side) and my other grandmother's house (mother side). Don't intend to visit any other relatives.I mean, when you've seen them ALL at your grandmothers' houses already, what's the point in going to their houses and then go through the trouble of looking for a corner to zibi at ???

Frankly, this CNY tradition of visiting relative's houses is dying.
And I really do mean, very very very very soon.

I mean come on admit it, nobody looks forward to it, we dress up (ok I don't) in new clothes which we've shopped at MILLIONS of shops before deciding on our purchases (ok, 5 shops is enough to kill me), drag our feets into their houses, fake smiles and other CNY greetings, get the whole "gimme my ang pao" thingy over and done with, then we all look for a corner to zibi in. Kinda sad, cos every house only has 4 corners to zibi at, so if you don't manage to find yourself a corner, you're forced to 'socialise' and answer pointless questions that just repeat year by year.

I predict that 10 years from now, every cny, we'll go visiting our friends houses instead of our relatives houses. And it'll be called "PINEAPPLE TARTS SAMPLING SESSIONS" .
Yummy, that'll be fun.
And a first in the whole CNY season, a visit that's actually fun.
Like WOW.

happy pineapple tarts tasting peeps.

OLD MOUSE LOVE BIG RICE.

Ordinary Dogs And Cats. (ODAC)
The English version of Old Mouse Love Big Rice - Edited by Mr Lim

When I came to CJC, I behaved like a monkey
Climb here, climb there. Skip lecture everywhere
I thought I was handsome and bright, till I'm caught by the Big man in white
He's the one we feared, he disciplines the disappeared

I had my mass PE, Oh it scared the hell of me
My legs and hands kept trembling till I cannot write GP
I love my tutorial, because there is this teacher
She's so patient, she's so caring, she's so clear... Oh, she's so dear

WoAiNi CJC, just like Lao Shu Ai Da Mi
Even though so tough for me, teachers and friends still stand by me
Don't get bitter, just get better, That is what I have to be.
Be the best that I can be, in C-J-C... my family...

Now- I'm involved in Cjc, to better the previous me
I love lecture, I'm always so punctual
Cele-brate Chinese New year, that is why we are here
Xin Nian Kuai Le, Wan Shi Ru Yi

I love pine-apple tart, but I cannot eat too much
Cause my PE teacher told me they're not too good for my heart
You say Gong Xi Fa-Cai, I say Hong Bao Liang Ge-Lai
Mandrain Orange, Bakua, YuSheng and steamboat... and sore-throat

WoAiNi CJC, just like Lao Shu Ai Da Mi
Even though so tough for me, teachers and friends still stand by me
Don't get bitter, just get better, That is what I have to be.
Be the best that I can be, in C-J-C... my family...

EVE of CNY EVE.

LO HEI !!!!!!!!!

hahaha!
My first Lo hei session of the year was spent with OH SIX, our home tutor, Mr Pang and......................ABANG. O.O

Kinda an unexpected 'guest' our Home tutor had said he'd invite, but ah well, it wasn't THAT odd having abang lo hei with us.

So a bunch of us splitted the cost of the lo hei and dumped the whole thing to nice Mr Pang, who actually placed everything nicely in this HUGE plate and even got us SMOKE SALMON to go with the lo hei. Like, WOAHHHHH~

My home tutor's damn nice mannnnnn.
Other then the fact that he regularly gives us 'front rowers' heavy showers of blessings of course. -.-"

And I didn't pon school !!!!
Aren't you guys proud of me??
Sick ali had the PERFECT chance to pon school to 'recuperate', but NOOOOOOOO,she so stupidly went to school . -.-"
And really, I did have a MC for thursday which I conveniently FORGOT to use.
DANG.

Nevertheless, school was fun, so, yup no complaints there, despite the fact that half the time I was worrying whether I'd spread my detested flu bug to anyone in my class. Fingers crossed on that.

Hmmmm....so the CNY eve eve celebrations went on.
OMG,every item was SUPER lame lah!
Especially Issac Lim's rendition of 'LAO SHU AI DA MI'. (Is it my luck or something? Cos' it seems as though I can NEVER break away from that bloody song! 36 days of hearing that song more then 12 times a day when I was working and a whole lot os instances when the minute I step into some shop, it'll be playing that bloody song.)

DAMN LAME LAHHHHHHH!!!!

But it was hilarious lah,not to mention the dragonista "GONG XI FA CAI" lol~

LO HEI after that!
Due to our VERY VERY VERY limited mandarin vocabulary of auspicious Chinese proverbs, we repeated quite a number of proverbs AT LEAST 5-6 times each -.-"

Besides our class, I think only 2T18(you wei's class) had a class LO HEI as well, albeit later then us though.
wahahahaha~

Went through the the next few lessons to finally pon maths lecture. I mean come on, I do not have the bloody expensive calculator which lectures are based on at the moment, so what's the point in me attending these lectures anyway??

Reached home and rushed out only to find that the 'family' had quite a bit of miscommunications which almost caused xy to strangle me, me to strangle june and yy, yy and june to strangle me before moving on to xy, grace and angel standing there laughing -.-"

Sidetrack : Oh yeah, saw Mich,WeiXin,Hazel,Corn and Ann at Far East yesterday!
Didn't say hi to Mich and Ann though since they were deeeeeeeeep inside the world of shoes and bags (my, how traumatizing -.-).

Lessons learnt?

1. NEVER leave home with a low batt phone. (VERY VERY VERY important)
2. NEVER leave the ticket buying process to the sick thus TEMPORARILY mentally retarded, cos' she'll probably FORGET that one of the others had a movie voucher. (this was the part where XY wanted to strangle me)
3. ALWAYS message EVERYONE in the clique when there are changes to plan NO MATTER HOW MUCH it'll cost at the end of the month.

Ok.
Memoirs of a Geisha was nice to SEE, but not much to WATCH.
It's just. Flat.
Like there's an absence of climaxes or even a proper ending.
$19 down the drainnnnnnnn~~~~
Erm, I paid $19 to watch memoirs due to my ultimate kukuness. -.- (I ADMIT, HAPPY???)

URGHHHH....it's CNY,only thing I'm looking forward to is reunion dinner.
*Thinks*
Yeah. Only that. O.O

AH! and visiting xy,grace, june,yy and angel's house! (whether they like it, or not.)
WAHAHAHAHAHAHA~

Since it's the year of the Dog, I really should consider bringing my Sundae or Smoothie or BOTH for house-inspection eh?

I know our dearly beloved Angel would love that.

Again.

Due to numerous complaints that the flashbox wouldn't stop refreshing and loading, I've yielded to the masses 'pleas' and changed the bloody tag board.

Wel....it's not as pretty as the previous one, but let's keep our fingers crossed that this would be a more dependable one~

The good, the evil and the understated of school.

Feels as though it's been AGES since my last post.
Well.........what can I say, I was very very very busy busy busy!

Busy with what?
SCHOOL!!!!

Which is SURPRISINGLY SUPER FUN!
lol~

F.Y.I, I'm taking

H2- Literature
H2- History
H2- Maths
H2- Economics

for my first 3 months.

Initially I had thought of taking either History or chem as my H1, but at CJ, H1 and H2 Syllabuses are the same for the 1st 3 months. And since I've taken chem at CJ before, I thought I'd venture into the deep yet terrifying waters of CJ's famed History department!

Hmm....history's quite alright so far, kinda interesting yet mind confounding at times~
I get all messed up with the events of blah blah year when everyone else at the very least has some basic skeletal knowledge of what is going on.

Lit's even more interesting!
And even more intimidating~ cos' practically everyone in my class had taken Lit at the O's while me?? When was the last time I even read something close to literature?? SECONDARY 2!!

Nevertheless, I like both subjects very much AT THE MOMENT,and I sure hope this liking wouldn't just fade away. :):)

Econ's ok so far, I have a damn comic econs tutor...so...yup...what more can I ask for? hahaha!
And I think it's the only subject I have somewhat a foundation in~
(took econs at AJ for 1st 3 months last year.)

BUT. All good things come at a price.
Alas, like the me who'll most probably NEVER change.
I STILL HATE MATHS!!

And that is a GROSSLY UNDERSTATED declaration!!
To make matters worse ALL maths students have to buy this bloody expensive and totally not worth it shit of a calculator!!

MY MOOLA~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OH YEAH, just cos' many asked, my new class ROCKS!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SIX!!!!!!

lol~
One of my funniest and most united JC classes since the conveted 4e1!!~
OK, to be honest, my last year class was crap ,so no competition to begin with.
WAHAHAHAHAHA~ I'm so evil~

But what to do, the truth is in it's vice, can't do anything about that can I?

Week ONE.

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

LITERALLY.

I've lost count of how many pubbles I stepped into,
how many times I got caught umbrella-less,
how long it has been since I actually stepped out of home with a pair of dry everythings.

Lots and lots of rain directly and indirectly means......................

IT'S GONNA BE A GREAT GREAT GREAT YEAR AHEAD!!!!!

Ever heard of the expression, "showers of BLESSING" ?
Therefore, rain falling like cats and dogs = blessings falling like cats and dogs!
lol~

Anyway this week's been pretty urm fast?
Orientation, hockey, pinky hunts, random outings,BLEACH episodes,tv-ing once in awhile.............
Yup, that pretty much sums up my entire week.

All in a sentence, technology IS fast.
O.O

Oh yeah.
You wei's my OGL!!
It's a small world afterall~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

hahahaha~
*FYI : you wei's a friend from sec sch who's also in CJ.

I was VERY VERY VERY relieved to finally see a familar face at orientation!
OK lah...although there were quite a number of familar faces at orientation, but I wasn't close to any one of them and compared to him, I guess you wei has the "time" advantage~
haha~

I'm antisocial.
So kill me.

I dunno....... with all the crap from the last time I tried to be friendly prejudice-less-ly, I almost landed myself in a nice little private psychotic ward with lovely white padded walls and similar furnishings.

Guess that's my only excuse for not being as friendly as I used to be.
Oh well, we'll just see how things go eh?
Not as though I'm in a desperate need of cliques to walk around with.

On a sidetrack.....

WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING FEMALE AND NOT NEEDING COMPANY WITH TO USE THE TOILET?????

Everyone in my IG was perpetually shocked at the fact that I don't need company to the toilet.
Like.
WHY'S THAT SO?!?

One of the world's most mystifying unknowns : why do girls go to toilet in pairs and more??

And I think I'm going for the record of "fastest order of a subway meal ever made".

Rip Offs.

LALALA.

It appears to be that my blog entries are popular with rip offs.
And not that I'm EXTREMELY mad about it or anything.....I'm still human afterall.

A not-as-well-tempered-as-seemed-individual to be exact.
Thus explaining my reaction to this dude. (yes I know it's a dude. Big sister's ALWAYS watching. wahahahaha!)

Oh yes.
The reaction?

bye bye '05.

Hmmm.....

Second day of the brand new year,2006.
How does it feel?

THE BLAAADDDDY SAME LAH.

Review of 2005 : IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup yup, 2005 wasn't THAT good a year for your friend here.
And since they WERE unsettling events chronicleded in ol' humble blog here, I shan't go into FURTHER details about them. But in short : Not THAT great a year.

Sure there was a whole bunch of fun and all, the usual dosage or more of lameness and crap, but there was also an unusually HIGH shot of bitch fits,bitching,bitchy-ness,bitch rumours. Oh, did I mention?

BITCH-_____________ (insert).

Nevertheless........

It's all in PAST TENSE and WAAAAAY OVER!!!!!!

Guess that's the only thing I'm ecstatic about 2005.
The very fact that it's over.

Guess there's always something good with each coming year.
I think.

Happy New year Peeps!
