Age 3.
Age three, you probably never knew that that Indian boy sitting next to you was any different from you.
You probably didn't understand the value of gold, or how the world revolves around it.
Neither did you know of any fear, pride, evil, love, peace.
You only wondered why the world's so big, why are crayons so attractive and why glue tastes so good.
See at that age we watched life without coloured glasses.
Upset, we cry.
Happy, we laugh.
Unsure, we ask.
Appreciated, we smile.
Full, we burp.
Rested, we fart.
Simple as that.
Strange how the years bring us up to be such hypocrites.
Smiling cos' we're expected to.
Laughing cos' we're supposed to.
Saying what we never meant.
Pretending everything's ok, when really you just wanna scream and run.
Kinda amusing how everyone's born free and uninhabited only to grow up restricting him or her own self to whatever everyone else deems as 'OK'.
The things I amuse myself with.
