Teachers' Day.
:) :) :)
Haven't felt so happy in such a long time.
Absence does make the heart grow fonder.
That is of course with people whom you click well with.
Was EXTREMELY happy today.
Went back to B.hill, FINALLY after like..........eh.....2 months?
lol~just can't get enough of that place.
Went to school today as usual.
Woke up at 6:45, arrived in school at 7:00 am.
Talked to Quan You for awhile, went to wait for time to assemble.
Went for assembly, sat in audi anxiously until you wei called me and said we better take flight NOW.
So yep.
Supposedly had a REALLLY bad stomache, shit in the toilet for 45 minutes or something.
At least that's what I'm gonna say.
Heck them.
Even before attendance was taken, You wei and I fled out of Cj through the backgate, all the time pretending we were gonna get a teachers' day present.
Before long, we're out of Cj.
We ran out can?
RAN leh.
So just when we thought we were safe ,I saw my PE teacher( FOO CHEE TUANG) walking towards Cj through the backgate.
Like. OMG.
Mr Foo," where are you two going?"
So being the terrific split second crap generator that I am, I very quickly said, "We're going back to take a teachers' day present which I forgot to bring. It's quite heavy so he's coming with me to bring it back."
Mr Foo," where you live?"
Me," Very near here, around there." *random point*
Mr Foo," Orh . Ok."
Pro hoh.
Lol~
And we reached BHSS around 8 am.
Barely half an hour after running from cj.
Don't know whether did my home tutor take my attendance.
Oh well~
Shall leave that to Friday.
Shalalalalala~~
There we met everyone else.
Most of last year's batch of clowns.
Went around with Krystelle, Benny, Tristan and You wei to give happy teachers' day greetings to our teachers.
It was so nice man.....
We hugged, laughed about the good old times, talked about our futures....
Miss them to death.
I mean I feel real bad for not doing the same for my teachers in primary school of my jc, but it's just different lah...The closeness you have with your secondary school teachers.
At least that's the way it is for me lah.
Most of them practically watched us grow.
When you're in primary school, you haven't a clue about who you wanna be, or what kinda person you wan to become. And on top of that, the most important agenda on the list was merely to finish your homework in time for your mummy to let you play some lame game. Stuck with kids like that, your primary school teachers can do little but pound values into you.
Not reasoning and understanding each other.
When you're in a JC/poly/tertiary education institution, your teachers aren't called teachers anymore. They're called tutors. That changed everything from teach to guild doesn't it? What more they probably have over a thousand students each, way too vast a number to give that personalized and close touch to the tutor-student relations.
Sure, there are exceptions, but I bet they won't even cover the five fingers of your hand.
At your secondary school, that's where the real changes take place.
Most had their first taste at puppy love during their secondary school days
Then probably had their first heartbreaks in their secondary school days.
Made the closest bunch of friends they'll probably ever have.
Broke into an NC-16 movie illegally together using your crapping geniuses.
Almost set the school field on fire by playing with lanterns during mooncake festival.
Laughed at absolutely nothing. All the way from day break to dust.
Attempted to NOT talk for one whole day as a 'Balestierian Challenge'.
Watched as your friends washed HNO3 off calculators under a tap of running water in the lab.
Jori claiming that Ammonia is acidic.
Stood while the guys kneed in the hot sun at the amphitheatre, in front of the school creed for creating too much Havoc for old Mdm Lim.
Walloped Xinli for taking obscene pictures of ourselves.
Laughed at Mr Choo for being too high on coffee (watch as he climbs up 7 flights of stairs, arms full of laptops, books, worksheets) and too excited on sperms before you even finished writing your name on your homework.
Groaned as Mrs Raj goes on about her pearls and swine story.
Mumbled while Mrs Po went on about 'MAY GOD HELP YOU."
Protested when Mrs Er refused to give you half a mark more for that mini Chem test.
Salivated while you dreamt during Romzee's physics lessons.
Struggled as Ms Tan simply gave ONE Amaths question for you to solve in an hour.
Highlighted furiously to pretend that you read Ms Lee's SS and Geography notes.
Teased Mrs Sunneeth for not teaching us Civics and Moral Education.
Giggled at Ms Hgoh's SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADUP.
and so so so so so so so so so much more.
Man, the list is just endless.
I LOVE MY SECONDARY SCHOOL DAYS MAN.
I LOVE MY COHORT OF 2004.
I LOVE MY TEACHERS BACK ON THE HILL.
I mean, with my batch, you could put any gang with a different gang and nobody would feel out of place. Everybody just clicks so well...Afterall, we practically grew up together.
Don't know about other schools, but that's the BHSS way man.
Oh no. This post was initially more meant for teachers on the whole.
Guess I just got carried away~~
Nevermind.
Had fun recounting anyway.
Oh yeah, went to kbox after that.
We sang like kids on some singing competition lah!
Especially with Angel's 'dance'.
LOL.
Saw my primary school friend( Chee Yung) when Graceeee and me went to the toilet cos' our legs were aching from sitting too long.
Just waved and went away cos' things looked kinda weird then.
Dunno whether was that the right thing to do or not.
Oh well.
Too much a day.
Shall muse more another day.
Why don't we hit restart, and pause it at our favourite parts...
We'll skip the goodbyes...
