Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve.
Yesterday was Christmas Eve. That makes today Christmas Day!
Happy Birthday Jesus! The gift of all gifts. The king of all kings.
OK, went to my Kway teow, Chong Shu En's place to fill out some form when I relized it's with her~ There I saw 3 dudes just sitting downstairs of her place. Didn't bother about them,went to my kway teow's place. There I just sat in her room and stare at the fiflth surrounding me.
Then the kway teow called and asked her maid, who then asked Shu Hui( kway teow's sis), who then asked her friend , who then asked me to ask the 3 dudes to come in. Lol~
Girls (me not included) can be soooo shy eh? What's wrong with asking 3 unknown dudes into their place? Why cannot do so themselves ? The 3 dudes graciously declined to enter the kway teow's house. Not my problem liao~
Si kway teow! Are you lame or are you LAME? make 3 dudes wait outside your place~Lol~
Later on, Kway teow's parent brought the 3 dudes to their Church before coming back to bring us there. Had a buffet dinner , saw my O xiang there.
ARHHH! Nicholas my O xiang! What happened to your hair? No time to style that day ahh ? Go and do something about it, a moisturizing treatment or something~ Lol~
Anyway, we sang a few cliche Christmas Carols and then watching with our mouths wide open at this little girl called Des'ree sing. Her voice is cute and all, but what amazed me the most was the fact that she was singing in Hokkien.The song was called 'listen carefully' in Hokkien of course.
Woah~good thing they had translations for the whole thing, otherwise I most probably would have thought that she was cursing us all or something.
For like the hundredth time in my life,I hated myself for not knowing any other Hokkien phrase other then 'jia bah buay?' and a few other Hokkien phrases.
Paiseh leh! Small girl knows how to worship God in Hokkien and I only know pathetic things like 'eat already?' ~ =.="
Anyway, next came the play my Kway teow was in. It was alright lah, what to expect of a low cost production ?
After that, Nick and Vanessa went to Orchard, the land of Stampedes to countdown and to get stomped flat by the crowds.
I went to my Kway teow's place to have a 2nd dinner ,or more aptly called a supper. Woah~Her relatives can really cook...feed us until we were all so very bloated~
Kinda envious of her family. Where she lives, all her neighbours are her relatives. So during any big celebration, all of them just lung the food down and have a big makan session. My family never , or haven't had such a celebration for a really long time already.
A nice, low key, low cost production and didn't get stomped flat by mob flood Christmas this year .
Not so bad...not so bad...
