Down With Liquor and Smoking.

Down With Liquor and Smoking.

I woke up this morning to the smell of my dad's smoking.

What a perfect beginning to the start of the day eh?

The whole 'need-to-smoke-to-relieve-stress' is ridiculous. I mean, scientifically, how is it possible for smoke to be both stimulating and relaxing at the same time?

Also, the addiction of smokers is mostly psychological addiction ,not so much of the nicotine high.

I find it rather absurb that these people can go on smoking despite the numerous warnings of how bad smoking is.

OK,me for one, used to paste all those digusting pictures of diseased lungs, clogged up arteries, articles of really young people who died of smoking....you name it,I've got it on the wall.

Why go through all that trouble?

I extremely detest the smell of unburnt carbons and who knows what inside those 'smelly-sticks'. And,my dad's one of those hateful smokers.

For a short period of time,my dad stopped smoking. Wow. I was soooooo very happy during those days man...Not a hint of burnt cigarette in the house...no coughing from my mum,sis and bro.

Even my dad seemed to be proud of the fact that he was controlling his daily nicotine fix. However...don't know what happened,he went back to smoking that stupid stick of death again.

All along Orchard there are smokers. I think you peeps have encountered such inconsiderate smokers at least once before. These smokers fit this profile:

-They smoke as though the whole world belongs to them
-They blow their stinky carbon monoxides towards people next to them.
-They are oblivious to the fact that people around them are smoking passively.
-They don't care that people (like me) are coughing from their smoke.

OKok...cool down...1...breathe....2....breathe.....relax...

Hmm...now that the smoking part is over....On to the liquor part!! (I'm not done yet!).

Part 2.

The sight of people I know drinking was one hell of an eye opener.

Funny how liquor can make someone so beautiful in thought and poise so ugly.

Just seeing them walking clumsily, talking total crap(crappier then me) and throwing tantrums just like a one year old is really disturbing. I mean, I've known these people for the past four years of my life and to see them acting like the buffoons that they are NOT is really depressing.

Part of you wants to go over and just slap them awake or smash that evil bottle over their heads, but another part of you stops yourself from doing so. Why? Even you yourself doesn't know. Silly eh?

Anyway, from what I saw,I vow NEVER to touch liquor .Or at least to avoid it as much as I can. At least for now. Who knows what the future holds anyway...

If whoever I saw drinking is reading this...I think you know what to do.
I know that you do.

Heart Broken.

Heart Broken.

Everytime I go seeking a new and more 'aLi' blogskin for my blog ,I'm always left in a state of emotional-void.

That's cos I haven't found one which truly suits me yet.

Go make my own? You siao ah? Just applying skins is aready creating aches all over me, imagine what would happen if I really set out to making my own blog templates.

Ok. Today,I saw....the ONE. Not just any ONE, but THE RIGHT ONE.
Blog template that is.

It's blue and white...features the blue blue sea...the clear blue sky...WAHHHH.....my first Love at first sight...

Alas, like all infatuations, my romance with this ONE blog template is too sweet to even develop.

Apparently ,the html code is all wrong or something. I just couldn't load this beauty onto my template.

Sighz~

I feel like I've just been rejected by something. Then again,is this how rejection is supposed to feel? Lol~

Oh well,my mum's screaming and I don't like screaming mothers, so there. A fullstop to my love affair with this RAVISHING blog template which will just never be mine.

Lol~

Society Talk.

Society Talk.

She only sees what she wants to see.
She does not care about the people around her.
Only her manicure and pedicure appointments.

What are we all changing into? Just another generation of apathetic and ' don't know, don't care ' people? Have you ever sat down and carefully thought of what you are actually fighting for? What do you want this society to become?

"If we seek change only because we are personally affected, then we are not a gracious society. It should concern all of us even if it's one poor, uneducated, sick or lonesome." ,quoted from Mr Paul Tan in the Sunday Times.

Honestly,I occasionally cannot stand people who who have no views about anything at all or only have concerns over their own selfish selfs.
Then I stop and think...am I one of these people too?

It's quite ironic to say that you hate a particular type of person and suddenly realise you may sometimes be what you hate the most.

My blog entries may sometimes seem serious to you peeps but remember , this is my blog. I don't blog to make anyone happy. I blog to tell you what I care about. What I think the world should be like.

OK,back to topic!

I personally find it quite strange to have society classes. There are the ah bengs, the lians, the English-only snobs, the cheena squad, the pot-bellied old tikos..etc...

I mean,come on,all humans are genetically 99.99999999 % identical. What's the classification for?

When we are alive,we are all so different. Living different dreams and having different hopes. But when we die, everyone is the same-- devoid of all that they once had except for one last certificate, the death certificate.

So, before you peeps go dismissing anyone as a particular 'type' of people and cracking jokes about them, remember they are not so different from you. They have feelings too. They know what's it like to be scared, alone and worse-emotionless.

Ahh...Another quality of human nature I really despise-- criticism of people who are well...'different' from the rest of us.
We live in a free country. Our ancestors fought for liberation. ]

Can't we liberate our minds too?

There,my steam is released.
Don't worry, nothing happened to me.
Just telling you peeps what I think of our world...

The 8th Dec. My day.

The 8th Dec. My day.

Once again,I'm actually retyping this entry cos my computer died on me just now.

Ok,nevermind,this is an important topic to me,so NEVERMIND...I retype~~

OK! This year, for the first time in my 15 years, 10 months and 27 days of life,I'm not gonna be celebrating my birthday in Singapore with all you peeps. Instead I'll be in China looking at some mountain and guessing what landform it takes.

Whoopi~

Haha~Why China and such an awkward day to fly off? Cos my super-duper-luper blur dad (and you peeps say I'm blur~sheesh~) FORGOT to book tickets for the flight to China earlier. At first we were supposed to go New Zealand in fact. But once again...he FORGOT to book early so now we're going to China. Ok lah...I don't mind...always go to city areas can be kinda boring too. Just hope this holiday would turn out alright...Otherwise I'll just scream at my dad ahh~

In fact, just last night I almost fought with my mum over the whole I'm-gonna-miss-my-birthday-in-Singapore thingy. Before the fight actually started..I just walked away. It'll be kinda dumb to fight my mum over this anyway. After all, this holiday trip to China is supposed to give my family and I a chance to relax and have fun together.

You peeps might think I making too much of a fuss over my birthday, but I guess that's just the way that I am. It's not everyday you become sweet sixteen you know..and I'm the kinda person who really cherishes such days..these are days worth celebrating. Birthdays are the celebration of the day God granted us life. Life may be sucky and all at times...but whether you want your's in light ...or in the dark..that's all our choice,a sucky life is NOT God's doing. It's your own.

So yeah...this year I won't be celebrating my sweet sixteen with you peeps and yy..so enjoy the celebration of yy's b'day on the 8th dec this year! (see I sooooo nice hoh yy? Let you have one whole day to yourself~lol~) .

Why despite what I've said above,I still don't want a birthday celebration with you peeps this year?

Well...a celebration of a birthday on any other day besides your birthday just wouldn't feel right you see. Also,it's not as though my family isn't gonna celebrate with me . So yeah,I'm happy with that too. =)

Birthdays are celebrations of the granting of life to us from God.
They mark our changes and maturity over the years.
They tell you when to grow up,when to face up to the demons of life.
They show you how lucky you are to have survived this long, when everywhere all over the rest of the world is dying.
They stop you from digging your nose in public.

So...don't say that birthdays don't matter. It is a day to be remembered. A day to be thankful for. A day for you to just drop everything and just be with those you love. A day to be cherished.

If that doesn't convince you, nevermind. I tried. And I can't make everyone see things through my brightly-lit lenses could I? After all "Variety is the spice of life".

Guess differences were created for a reason.

How does it feel like to be you?
How does it feel like to be me?

The Paternal.

The Paternal.

Read something amusing just now in the Straits Times.

According to a worldwide survey released yesterday,"Mother" is the most beautiful English word in the English Language, followed by "passion" , "smile" , "love" and "eternity".

'Mother" was the only word of the 70 characters that describes a direct relationship between people and that it came out top when the word "Father" didn't make it to the list at all.

Personally I think "smile" should have been the most beautiful word in the English Language but...

Woah. "Mother" coming out tops when "Father" doesn't even make it to the list?

Strange how come mothers' day is so celebrated every year while nobody makes a fuss over fathers' day.

Frankly,I'm also one of those guilty ones who celebrate their mothers more then their fathers. Pherhaps that's because I get emotional support from my mother ,not my father.

My mother even told me how I was so afraid of my dad whenever he came to pick me up from my aunt's place (my aunt took care of me in my baby/toddler years). And honestly,I had zero feelings ,maybe even hating him before my eyes opened from Christ.

It was only then that I realised how much he sacrificed and suffered just for my family and my sake. On example, my dad only occasionally comes home early for dinner, most of the days he just stuffs himself with bread or some other junk to silence his hunger. All that...just for us all to live comfortably. Just for our happiness.

Lao Tie (that's what I call my dad at home), aLi loves you loads! And aLi is sorry for all the silly stuff she did...

Prom!

PROM!

Haha~ok,so I was wrong-Prom was GREAT!

We checked into Meritius Mandarin at 12 noon, then Siok they all and the HUAs were all in the same ,tiny ,pathetic room (but I think our's is bigger then those in the Grand tower ,haha) painting our nails. That includes Marcus. Lol~Pink lehh,so nice and shiny and sooooo very 'Marcus' .

Ok at 2:00 pm the makeup artist/hair stylist came into our room. I went first cos' I drew the '1st' lot. Wah...she plucked my eyebrows!! Now I think I look soo...ermmm...'curved-arc-eyebrows' cum 'bitchy'. The rest of them said it was ok lah,but guess I'm too self-conscious eh?

Wah...when the make up was done ahh....I think I just look weird, kinda parrot-like in fact even though the makeup artist only used light makup on us. Then again..Apparently only I thought so~self -conscious again~not used to the whole makeup and dress thing.

Then came the hair. The lady used like what 14 pins in all just for my do?
But it was alright ,neat and out of my face. Just the way I like it.

By the time the makeup artist/hairstylist was done with all five of us (yy,Grace,Juney,Xy and Jia yi), it was barely 4:00 pm . We were supposed to arrive only between 6 and 6:30. So that left us with what- 2 hours to prom and we're all ready already??

So we sat on the floor, with all our dangling earrings, makeup, hair done, dress smoothed with our legs crossed ,playing cards (which is VERY unbecoming of a lady). Then again, what the heck,we were never ladies in the first place~Lol~

Anyway have I NOT tell anyone how ravishing Graceeee mummy looked?? Wow!! She was like a whole new person. Xtreme makeover seems too ermm extreme ,but her change was REALLY drastic!

Yy...as usual..as long as she shuts her mouth, sit straight and smile, she's gorgeous too! More ballerina then fairy lah dear~

Juney...maybe cos' she's pretty all along so yeah, pretty as ever, only with neater hair and makeup.

Jiayi...wahh...O XIANG!! (IDOL)

Xinying...much sweeeeeter , more feminine and hair which is ALOT better then usual...That's her most drastic change lah~

Angelllllly my ah mah! Not bad lah~the way I sort of expected her to come in. The way she looked with makeup and how uncomfortable she was with was just sooo darn funny loh~
After the first platter, her lipstick was already gone~

At our table( table no.3) was...
1. Cheryl(rock chick)
2.Mei Huey
3.Prise (sassy dear)
4.Angel (my ah mah!)
5.ME (gothic lollita~)
6.Sarah (wow...i like her eye makeup~)
7.Mery (the prom princess of 4e1)
8.Evelyn ( tribal beauty~)
9.Traces ( soooo lady and WOMAN)
10. Nicholas ( the only dude on our table~,u feel very honoured don't you? A whole table of beauties around you~lol~)

OK lah,on the whole, prom was very fun! I for one particularly enjoyed the slideshow...almost cried ahh~But crying would be rather silly cos it's not as though we're never gonna see each other again and also the fact that my eyeliner would run if I cry~

It was also real fun when we did our class cheer again...haha,we DID change the lyrics ok...So we're NOT uncreative !

The emcee was lame, just like every other emcee in the country actually~

Oh yeah, I also got a carrot shaped CD rack cos I won the 35th prize in the lucky draw. I was biting my broccoli like a good little girl when Angel was slapping my back, almost making me choke when my number was annouced.

The contestants for Prom prince and princess (except Mery!) were all just cliche, lame, and UN-elegant.If anyone reading this was one of those contestants, that's just my point of view,so if you're not happy come find me lah! Our's is a free country and I'm entitled to my freedom of speech.

Towards the end of the dinner, the food all got sucky and UGH.

Nevertheless...I had a blast! One of those kinda nights which I'll most probably never forget...Cos I stored it in my permanent hard drive you see~

Hmm...After prom we lingered around for an hour so just to take pictures with everyone else. Pathetic me had to go around borrowing cameras to take pics cos I FORGOT to bring mine down~SHEESH!

Anyway, flashes were everywhere and we're posing every 5 minutes or so. Really had this feel of 'stardom' woah~

Also only then did I realise that ACS (Barker) was having their graduation prom right next to us. Their prom started half an hour before us and loooooong before we made our way, they were gone~ o.O Tells alot about school spirit eh?

Hmm...then we returned to our rooms, me ,angel and june in 1444 and the rest of them in 1436~

They seemed so sleepy so me ,juney and angel just left thir room for ours where we chatted happily and noisily throughout the whole morning~

We were even thinking of prank-calling the other peeps' rooms and breathe into the phone just to freak them out. Lol~the idea was soo funny! From there, the topic of chat turned towards the supernatural and suddenly, the phone rang.

O-H M-Y G-O-D.

Wah...we were all so freaked out man! Luckily,my ah mah was soooooooo brave and went to pick up the phone. Guess who was at the other line? A drunk eli.

SCARE US ah!!

Later on we visited eli they all's room, caught sight of a bunch of drunkards..which just persuaded me never to drink liquor and to become a tee-toller. Tell you peeps about that another day.

We then went walking around Orchard Road at 5:00 am ,drinking different brands of soya bean milk before surrendering to our fatigue~

On the whole...PROM was FANTASTIC!

We had no tears in our eyes...For we know that....This isn't goodbye.

I'll always remember you peeps and the great times we had...

Will you peeps rememer me too?

Just Another Rambling Session.

Just Another Rambling Session.

I soo very, really, seriously, honestly HATE this new hair 'style' .It not only costed my mum a hell of 45 dollars, it also looks like hell broke loose on my head. Nevermind, it'll just grow out of that UGH-do. It BETTER .

Anyway...tomorrow's prom already. Strangely I don't feel all that excited about it. I didn't really enjoy shopping for those prom stuff. In fact I felt really sian of it. It wasn't really an enjoyment. More of a 'need' then a 'like'.

Nevermind. Must be the hair bothering me.
-------------------------------------------------------------
OK!
Remember Huang Na?
Apparently, latchkey kids like her -cleaning ,washing, cooking, studying by themselves- are quite a common sight in Singapore. At age 5,they are able to whip out a whole assortment of eateries for themselves and even others. They go home to an empty house everyday after school. They rarely have dinner with their parents and surprisingly ,they are content with this arrangement.
Wow.

I for one was someone who really hated her parents for never really being there for me.
Use chopsticks---> I taught myself how.
Tie shoelaces--->I taught myself.
Make maggi mee/sandwiches--->Taught myself.
Computer/Internet--> I taught myself.

Just some examples of why I'm sour.
Maybe cos others had their parents help with everything right from day 1 while I had absolutely no idea about anything and was ridiculed for it.

It's not that my parents didn't try to make ammenments to cover their guilt...like what my mum said, they bought me practically every toy from the toy department in Robinsons until there was no toy that I wanted.
But..so what?
Monetary stuff isn't everything I guess.

It was only after I accepted Christ sometime last year that I finally realised why my parents had to live such a lifestyle. God made my parents this way so that I could have all the comforts of home,so that I could learn to be responsible for myself and my siblings .
So...yeah,I'm a late bloomer.

Just hope Bin and Andre 'bloom' in time...

I'm not their mummy,I can't go around nagging at them. I mean, who likes that right? So yeah, I'm just gonna let them be. But only up to a certain extent...

So Andre~ now you know why I never allow you to go biking by yourself after 8?

So Bin~now you know why I always scold you when you scold Anette?

Sheesh..sometimes I think I'm really too mature for my own good. But what the heck,as long as I'm happy...everything's gonna be alright.

=)

Run for cover.

"Run For Cover"

When you, get me down
Then I, get turned around
I tend to, cut myself off
From things, I shouldn't run from
It doesn't really matter
Sometimes we run for cover
I'm always on the outside

Stabbed me in the back
Wanting things that i lack
Sticking to your ploy
Is this something you enjoy?
Publicity and insecurity
Just wanna be me
It's my need to be free

[Chorus]
It doesn't really matter
Sometimes we run for cover
I'm always on the outside
You never seem to wonder
How much you make me suffer
I speak it from the inside
Looking right at me (at me)
Won't receive my plea (my plea)
Tell me what you mean (you mean)
I'm not what's on the screen
Thinking what will be (will be)
Fighting the fatigue (fatigue)
That's quite enough for me
Makes me wanna scream(scream, scream, scream, scream, scream, scream)

Keep it to myself
[Chorus]
It doesn't really matter
Sometimes we run for cover
I'm always on the outside (keep it to myself)
You never seem to wonder
How much you make me suffer
I speak it from the inside(Keep it to myself)

[Chorus]
It doesn't really matter
Sometimes we run for cover
I'm always on the outside (keep it to myself)
You never seem to wonder
How much you make me suffer
I speak it from the inside

There She Goes.

There she goes.

I feel real bad today and yesterday.

I got a -what I think is decent- prom dress.
I got a whole lot of -what I think are decent- prom accessories.
I got a new watch.
I got my dad's promise that he'll get me a new mP3 player.
I got a bloody expensive and not say fantastic hair cut.
I got so many other stuff which I can't even remember at the moment.

Gosh...I think my folks really blew one hell of a hole in their money bags in a matter of 2 days. I don't even have the guts to actually ask my mum how much she paid for all that stuff. (Or am I just making excuses cos I'm lazy? )

All that even before my O'level results are out.

Gosh....I'm like sooooo friggin' scared now...thoughts like, "What if I don't do as well as I should ?", "What if I do reaaaaalllllllly horriblely?" and "What if my parents become a laughing stock cos' of my results?" (tt's cos he went around telling people he has a smart daughter....yadda...yadda...).

Bleah.

If that really happens (touch wood!),I think I'm someone who might just break down and cry. I sacrificed way too much of my happiness, my freedom and my sanity these past 2 years. If so, you say, I shouldn't really be worried right? Wrong. That's cos I really slackened alot just before the O's. Overconfidence? No. Just tired....really really drained to the core...

Slap me if you must. But this is me. If you can't accept me for the workaholic/crappaholic/cannot-slack-aholic that I am...So be it. Don't really need these type of creatures in my life anyway eh?

Acceptence was one big word to me when I was still in kindergarten. It still is now. It is something not everyone or even one is able to do easily. Everyone was born prejudence-free...just what went wrong?
Was it our parents?
Was it our friends?
Was it the media?
Or was it reality?

Allamat, getting too serious again eh? Guess it's the night. Alison has a day-mode, a night-mode,a rain-mode and many others even she doesn't know eh? She's a weirdo I know. She's me and I love her cos...She's the only one who will always be there for me as I am there for her.

I'm a weirdo and this weird weather these days are just making me weirder.

The Fight Is On.

The Fight Is On.

Creative or Apple?
One's a household brand, the other's the current controller of the world's mP3 market. Which one oh which one should I get?

After listening to soooooo many comments and views, months of research into both mP3 players....the final fight is the one for my gut.
HUH??

Haha~I'm someone who trust's her gut feelings quite strongly because...it has never failed me before. Really. Sundae's one good example of my gut being right. (he's snoozing under my feet now~)

Seriously, the fight between Creative and Apple is getting more and more interesting. Creative's Mr Sim declaring an all-out war against Apple ,while Apple bochaply(is there such a word??) says that it has no comment.

Mr Sim is either one very daring man, or one really desperate man for the mP3 market. Then again,it may be because Creative has it's roots in Singapore,so Mr Sim is siezing the chance of eating up Singapore's mP3 market before the rest of the world. Either way....all the best to both contenders and may the best errr mP3 player emerge for me to purchase! Lol~

These days even Andre's rushing my dad to get me a mP3 player. Why?

That's because...once I get my mP3 player, I'll give my discman to my sis and she'll give hers to Andre to blast his Linkin Park without glares from us all.

I'm thinking of buying him a Linkin Park CD for his birthday on the 18th of December. But then...another part of me really doesn't want to do so. I mean, can you people imagine what it's like in my household now that the holiday's are here and Andre's a new LP fan?

It's something like that.

6:00 am---->Andre wakes up.
6:05 am to the rest of the day -----> Andre plays Linkin Park on the Hi-Fi surround sound system at a volume of 50++ while he is playing some car crashing game on the dining room computer with the volume to the max~

Omigosh~
But then...since it's his birthday then I SHOULD get him something he likes eh? Hope I find something nicer other than the LP CD...don't want more, " I WANNA LIVE!!!" blurring my new CD's playing~

Till the next time....ciao!

Surprisingly there's no LP today....Apprently his CD went missing~
Don't look at me like that! It wasn't me who made it 'disappear' .LOL~

Vain Janes.

Vain and over matured tweens.

She's just 11 when she first had her hair rebonded.
Wow.

At 11 all I cared about was for mine to stay away from my face, nothing else. Kids these days really know how to enjoy life eh? Mind you, colour treatments, rebonging sessions don't come cheap. If you go to a professional hair stylist ,the whole bill can even feed a family for a month.

I read about that in Sunday's New Paper.

Then it lead me to think, "eh,my household also liddat wad~"
Andre got his first handphone at primary 2 while I got my first handphone at secondary two. Bin had her first taste of lipstick at 3 or 4~can't remember, when I have NEVER let lipstick touch my lips. The lipstick Bin used wasn't even for any performances.

Honestly, kids these days are growing way too quickly for their own good.

Remember the last time I went back to my ex-primary school(HPPS) , there was fair going on. I was having a cup of Qoo when a dedication bombarded on the Hi-Fi near me bombed, " XXX GIMME A CHANCE!!" and " I love my lao gong YYY FOREVER!!" . When I heard those two dedications,I almost splurted on Angel~

Wonder what it would be like when Bin has a stead. Would be kinda amusing don't you think so? Her older sister which is me,has never gone steady with anyone (and I'm PROUD of it! ) while her, my younger sister is already seeing someone. You're reading this aren't you , Bin? This is just an assumption lah. But if you do have a boyfriend you BETTER tell me about it.

Weird living patterns

Weirdo, I Am.

Am I like the only weirdo who wakes up at 8 every Sunday morning just read practically every article in the Sunday Times and the Sunday edition of the New Paper instead of laughing my head off spongebob square pants?

That may seem nerdy or geeky or lame to you. But once again, that's only your point of view and honestly I can't be very bothered about it.

Anyway, you peeps really should read the Sunday editions of the newspapers, even Zhaobao seems not bad. That's cos' to me, Sunday's editions always have the most amusing ,less political, less depressing stuff compared to the weekday's edition.

OKok~

I saw this column in the 'reflect' section of Sunday's Life! .It's called 'Six degrees of recrimination' by Bruce Fierstein. According to his sources, the lost of the Democrats in the US elections has formed a ritual circular firing squad of recriminations.

Guess where the blame ends? Apparently, 'It's all J. Lo's fault.'

A very amusing column,go read!

10 years from today...

10 years from today...

Actually this is my third blog entry today.

Why am I so into this blogging business? I'm a crapper who has a deep need to share and the fact that I keep forgetting to save my drafts.

Anyway, I'm actually partially happy about my absent-mindedness. That's because I suddenly realized that the entry I was about to publish but got deleted was sooo darn crappy that even I smelt it's 'funkiness' 10 miles ahead. Also,I've found better deals to blog about after watching another episode of Sex and the city. (Yes,I watch Sex and the city and I am not ashamed of it! )

Today's episode jolted this thought into my peabrain---> 10 years from now, will the closest friends we have now still be our closest friends 10 years down the road? Will we still be able to have a juicy gossip session over a cup of coffee a decade later? Strange huh.Maybe that's because of our clique's ermm 'differentness' from other gangs.

One, we don't stick to each other during the holidays. We give each other personal space. Two, we won't follow blindly what anyone of us are doing just because one of us wants to do something or likes something. Lastly...if you don't want to tell the rest of da peeps something...they won't squeeze it out of you and if you do tell them about it..they won't squeal to others about it...That is the one thing I am sooo thankful for about the HUAs~Love ya all so so so so so so MUCH!

That, together with my 're-bonded' family and of course the acceptance of God.

Remember,Christianity is NOT a religion. It's a relationship with the only one who can give you the greatest love. Ever.
This I can vouch for.

So much that I have lost interest in the whole 'BGR' thing. Serious! I'm even beginning to become a 'romance-intolerant'. Those lovey-dovey songs I used to play over and over again in my head now seemed so fairyland, distant and well...away from reality.

Then again, what would I know about reality. I'm the pessimistic optimist remember? Haha~

This blogging thing is FUN! I'll try to make it more 'ali' in days to come. Now I'm quite pre-occupied with my prom preparations.

All girly, frilly, pink and lace dresses are NOT me. Hand me that pink one and I'm so gonna slap you.

Gonna hit the sack soon, need all the beauty sleep I can get hold of. Night peeps!

LOVE YA!

Breath

Number One.

first time blogging.
I started this blog for a very simple reason --

1. I have nothing better to do.
2. I need an outlet otherwise my whole room will just reek of crap.
3. It's post-war period!! ( Sickening O'levels just ended).

Okok~now you know the background of this blog, I should put a stop to these crap.

Yeah! My secondary education officially ended today! Enough with all that ,"Your O'level cert will follow you wherever you go" , "Your future all depends on this piece of paper." and " You are from 4e1 leh!" . Pullllllleeeasssseee.

Don't get me wrong now. It's not that I hate school or anything. Like what I said above, I'm just letting off post-war steam~ Honestly,if you say that you're not nervous about what's coming up after secondary schooling, that everything's gonna turn out FANTASTIC,you're just one big fat and overly optimistic liar, like me.

Hmmm.....the contradictive eternal optimist maybe. But that's just me I guess.

Wow,suddenly I sound so pessimistic~must be the stupid rain. Always has that depressing effect on me. Anyway, gonna end here. Feeling very light-headed now. Must be that apple and milk 'cocktail' I tried to make for dinner. What did you expect me to do? Stuff stale white bread into my gap just cos' no one's home to make me dinner and I'm too lazy to make something more decent for dinner ?

All this pessimistic stuff must be due to that URGH dinner I just had. As the wrinkles say...you are what you eat. Remember that people. Remember.
